Abuse & DMCA

Abuse and DMCA Policy

This page explains how to report network abuse, security incidents, and copyright-related issues involving services hosted on HostCraft infrastructure.

1. Scope

HostCraft provides infrastructure and hosting services used by our customers to run their own applications and content. While we do not control customer workloads, we take reports of abuse and infringement seriously and will review them in line with applicable law and our policies.

2. Network and Security Abuse

You can submit an abuse report if you believe a service hosted on our platform is involved in activities such as DDoS attacks, unauthorized access attempts, malware distribution, or other security issues.

To help us investigate, please include relevant details such as timestamps, time zone, affected IP addresses, log excerpts, and any additional context that can assist our team.

Abuse reports can be submitted via the Support page or by emailing support@hostcraft.xyz.

3. Copyright / DMCA Notices

If you are a rights holder or an authorized agent and believe that material hosted on a HostCraft-backed service infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice that includes:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing (URLs, IPs, or other locating information).
  • Your contact information (name, email, and, where applicable, organization).
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.

Notices can be sent to business@hostcraft.xyz. We may share portions of your notice with our customer to allow them to respond.

4. Our Response

Upon receiving a valid report, we will review it and may contact the relevant customer, request remediation, restrict access to the reported content, or suspend services where appropriate.

Our goal is to balance the rights of reporters, our customers, and affected users while maintaining the security and integrity of our platform.

5. Misuse of Reporting Channels

Submitting intentionally false or misleading reports, or using abuse channels to harass customers, is itself a violation of our policies and may be acted upon.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy as laws, practices, and our services evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page.

This policy is provided for general information and does not constitute legal advice. You should consult with your own legal counsel regarding your rights and obligations.
