First RDP Login Guide

Your Windows VPS is ready. Here is how to connect to it using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) from your local computer.

1. Get Your Credentials

After your purchase is confirmed, you will receive an email with your server details. You can also find them in the dashboard:

1. Log in to the HostCraft Dashboard.
2. Go to My Services and click on your VPS.
3. Note down the Main IP Address, Username (usually Administrator), and Password.

2. Connect from Windows

1. Press Win + R on your keyboard.
2. Type mstsc and hit Enter.
3. In the "Computer" field, enter your IP Address.
4. Click Connect.
5. When prompted, enter your Username and Password.
6. Accept the security certificate warning to proceed.

3. Connect from macOS

You need to download the "Microsoft Remote Desktop" app from the App Store.

1. Open Microsoft Remote Desktop.
2. Click the + icon and select "Add PC".
3. Enter your IP address in the "PC name" field.
4. Double click the new connection icon.
5. Enter your credentials when prompted.
