Summary: By deploying servers on HostCraft, you agree to lawful usage, prompt subscription renewals, and our 99.99% service level agreement guarantees. We do not tolerate spam, DDoS attacks, or malware distribution.
1. Service Level Agreement (SLA) Guarantee
HostCraft guarantees a 99.99% network and power availability SLA for all virtual private servers and dedicated bare-metal infrastructure located in our Delhi NCR and Mumbai facilities:
- Hardware SLA: On-site engineers guarantee hardware component replacement within 2 hours for dedicated bare metal instances.
- SLA Credits: If monthly availability dips below 99.99% due to unscheduled outages outside of announced maintenance windows, clients are eligible for service credits on their next renewal cycle.
2. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Clients enjoy full root and administrator authority over their instances. However, the following activities are strictly prohibited and subject to immediate suspension:
- Originating or facilitating volumetric Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, brute-force scans, or network flood scripts.
- Operating open recursive mail relays, unsolicited bulk email (SPAM), or hosting phishing portals.
- Distribution of malware, rootkits, unlicensed commercial software, or content in violation of Indian law.
- Uncoordinated penetration testing or port scans against third-party networks without explicit prior written authorization.
3. Billing, Invoicing & Renewals
Services are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis depending on your selected cycle:
- Invoices are generated 7 days prior to renewal dates and include full 18% GST itemization with your business GSTIN.
- Services may be canceled at any time from your client area before the subsequent renewal invoice generates.
- Automated reminders are dispatched to your registered email and SMS prior to service suspension for overdue invoices.
4. Data Backup Responsibilities
While HostCraft provisions enterprise hardware RAID-10 storage arrays and provides automated snapshot tools, clients are responsible for maintaining offsite backups of critical production databases and codebases.
5. Jurisdiction & Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in New Delhi, India.
