HostCraft partners with Path.net to provide 12Tbps+ of mitigation capacity. Learn how the filters protect your services.
How it Works
Path.net uses an "Always-On" mitigation strategy. All traffic to your VPS passes through their scrubbing centers. Malicious packets are dropped at the edge, while clean traffic is forwarded to your server with minimal latency increase.
Available Game Filters
We support specific application filters that inspect Layer 7 payloads for games, ensuring valid player traffic is not mistaken for an attack:
- OpenVPN
- UDP (Generic)
- Minecraft Java/Bedrock
- SAMP / MTA:SA
- Rust
- Source Engine (GMod, CS:GO)
- FiveM
- TeamSpeak 3
Managing Rules
You can configure firewall rules directly on the Path.net edge via our Client Area:
- Navigate to Network tab in your VPS management.
- Select Edge Firewall.
- Add rules to Block or Allow specific IPs/Ports before they even reach your server.
