Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs the use of HostCraft's services. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your service.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use our services to host, store, or transmit any content that:

  • Is illegal, unlawful, or promotes illegal activities.
  • Infringes upon intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, trade secret).
  • Contains child exploitation material (CSAM). Zero-tolerance policy applies.
  • Is threatening, harassing, defamatory, or hateful.
  • Distributes malware, viruses, trojans, or other malicious code.

3. Network Abuse

The following networking activities are strictly prohibited:

  • DDoS Attacks: Launching Denial of Service attacks from our network.
  • Port Scanning: Unauthorized scanning of third-party networks or systems.
  • Botnets: Operation of command and control servers or botnet nodes.
  • Spoofing: IP spoofing or any attempt to impersonate another host.

4. Email & Spam

HostCraft has a strict anti-spam policy. You may not use our services to send unsolicited bulk email (UBE) or unsolicited commercial email (UCE). Opt-in lists must be verified. Hosting "spamvertised" sites is also prohibited.

5. Resource Usage

For shared and VPS environments, users must not monopolize system resources (CPU, RAM, I/O) to the detriment of other users. HostCraft reserves the right to throttle or suspend high-load services that impact cluster stability.

6. Security Violations

Any attempt to breach the security of HostCraft's infrastructure or other users' accounts is prohibited. This includes unauthorized access, probing, or exploiting vulnerabilities.

7. Reporting Violations

To report a violation of this AUP, please contact our abuse department at support@hostcraft.site with relevant logs and evidence.
