Copyright & IPR Complaints

How to report copyright-infringing content hosted on HostCraft services, how customers can respond, and how we handle repeat infringement.

Summary: HostCraft is a hosting infrastructure provider — customers control the content on their own servers. If you believe content hosted on a HostCraft service infringes your rights, send a complete notice to our Grievance Officer below and we will act on it.

1. Grievance Officer & Copyright Contact

In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, HostCraft has designated a Grievance Officer to receive and act on complaints, including copyright and intellectual-property infringement:

  • Grievance Officer: HostCraft Compliance Desk
  • Email: copyright@hostcraft.xyz (or abuse@hostcraft.xyz)
  • Postal: Grievance Officer, HostCraft Technologies — HostCraft Technologies — support@hostcraft.xyz

Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and acted upon within the timelines required by applicable law. We forward complaint details to the affected customer where required.

2. What to Include in a Notice

For us to act, your notice must contain all of the following:

  • Your name and contact information (address, telephone number, email), and your capacity — rights owner or authorized agent.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work or content claimed to be infringed.
  • The location of the infringing material — the URL, IP address, hostname, or service detail sufficient for us to find it.
  • A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, made under penalty of perjury where applicable.

Incomplete notices may be returned for clarification. Knowingly false or abusive notices may expose the sender to liability.

3. What We Do With a Valid Notice

  • We remove or disable access to the identified material, or suspend the hosting service where removal is not possible.
  • We notify the affected customer and record a copyright strike against their account.
  • We give the customer the opportunity to respond with a counter-statement.

4. Customer Response / Counter-Notice

If content associated with your service was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, reply to copyright@hostcraft.xyz with:

  • Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement signed by you.
  • Identification of the removed material and where it appeared.
  • A good-faith statement that the material was removed in error, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the competent courts.

Where the complainant does not initiate legal action within the applicable period, we may restore the material at our discretion.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

It is HostCraft's policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, the accounts of customers who are repeat infringers. Strikes are recorded on the customer account; accounts accumulating three or more confirmed strikes will ordinarily have their services suspended and terminated without refund, per our Terms of Service.

6. Other Abuse

For non-copyright abuse — phishing, malware, spam, or network attacks originating from HostCraft infrastructure — contact abuse@hostcraft.xyz. It reaches the abuse desk directly and is handled faster than the copyright channel.
